Since our main business is reselling computer products and barebones systems; we are always building and assembling new custom PCs. The Chip Merchant’s trained and experienced technicians have built thousands of PCs for our customers. All computer assembly tasks follow our stringent quality control procedures and must pass an industry standard 24-hour burn-in test suite before being deemed acceptable. Assembly rates at The Chip Merchant are attractively priced fixed fees.

Depot Repair Services
Service Hourly Rates for Equipment not under Warranty:
- $90.00 Repair of local area networks, file server and networked peripherals, complex operating system repairs, communication diagnostics.
- $75.00 Repair of hardware, upgrades, and basic operating system
- $60.00 Per hour for “blocks of hours” purchased (minimum of 50 hours)
- Depot Repair cost does not include parts.
Please note: for multiple component installs, begin with the highest price of the component, and then add $10.00 for each additional component. The diagnostic fee is charged whether we repair the problem or not.
